Senior Dunbar Grammar School pupils have been inspired by our ambitions for the STEKA Centre as a way of helping to reduce inequalities for young people in Malawi . They met STEKA's Gift Thompson and staff and students from Queen Margaret University and have decided to help build a STEKA Vocational Skills Centre. It's a focus for their Peace and Conflict Resolution (Peace Jam ) group where young people choose and use practical approaches or problem solving skills to ensure that in times of crisis positive decision making is applied and encouraged in others They launched their fundraising efforts with a bake sale which raised £185.29 in 20 minutes! They're planning a tea dance for STEKA in June. T
